We all want to feel healthy and happy (among other things), don't we?
Want to know a simple way to take back control and be in charge of your emotions, attention, and perception of the world?
This relates to something all of us do, automatically and naturally. Our breath!
But in order to make a change, we must be aware and mindful of how we breathe: Is our breath stressful and shallow?
or is it a full, relaxed one?
There are so many positive, contributing attributes of mindful breathing to our relaxation, our sense of calm, better immune system efficiency, a general sense of well-being, and more.
In addition to that, a new
study by Professor Micah Allen from the Department of Clinical Medicine at Aarhus University
suggests that "brain and breathing are closely intertwined in a way that goes far beyond survival, to actually impact our emotions, our attention, and how we process the outside world. Our model suggests there is a common mechanism in the brain which links the rhythm of breathing to these events.”
Read more about it in the link above.
So allow yourself a few minutes, and start with the breath.
Take a full, deep breath in through your nose...
and breathe out...๐ง ๐๐ซ๐
Ahhhh....It already feels better!๐โค๏ธ๐
